Three Essential Certifications for Your CareerThree Essential Certifications for Your Career

Many students are taking preparation for certification exams for their careers. These students have a great opportunity when having a professional corporate trainer for all the training, including all the materials. It is an exciting experience since these students also have more chances to earn a professional credential.

According to a corporate trainer expert, his job feels more rewarding when seeing the students earning the certification, especially when receiving an email informing that the student has passed the exam. In this regard, a corporate trainer wants to share his recommendation regarding career certification. He said that the most crucial certification is not an Agile Scrum certification. However, you have to acquire the iron triangle that combines Agile Scrum certification with Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL Foundation V3. The advantage of these three credentials is that they are independent of the company. In other words, they help you regardless of the company you work for your career.

Agile Scrum Certification

If you are still doubtful whether to take agile scrum certification, you might want to check out your motivation in gaining this certification. In this case, the agile approach is preferred for IT-related tasks because flexibility is required. For example, application tasks are unpredictable, and change is essential. The Scrum Team needs to embrace change so that the customer doesn’t have to pay for these updates.

Preferably, this certification enables you to learn how to complete a task in two-week races. This group delivers business value after each sprint and provides feedback to key stakeholders. Based on the assessment, the team will continue to work on the next sprint plan. When taking an Agile Scrum certification, it would be best to take a 2-day Scrum Master course with the certification exam. The Scrum Master certificate is worth more than $70,000 in the marketplace.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

The PMP® is popularly known as the gold standard in project management organizations, and it doesn’t matter where you live because the Project Management Institute (PMI) is a worldwide organization. For this, candidates with a 4-year degree must demonstrate 4,500 hours of management and leadership tasks; those without a 4-year degree must demonstrate 7,5000 management and leadership tasks. The exam is 4 hours long and contains 200 questions. The PMP exam is difficult, so it would be best to take a training course to be well prepared. There is no doubt that you will have more opportunities after earning this required project management credential.

ITIL Foundation V3 Certification

Information Technology Infrastructure Library, or known as ITIL, has provided the third teaching version. Thus, ITIL Foundation V3 certification. In this certification, not only a technology-savvy person but also a non-technology-savvy person can take this course. Some marketing analysts, account managers, event planners, or even budget coordinators can register for this certification.

Although this ITIL certification concerns IT Management, there are also materials focusing on how IT and Business can work hand in hand for better customer value. This certification is a one-hour exam with 40 questions, and the students have to pass at least 26 correct questions to get a 65% score. ITIL-certified people can expect to earn around $75,000 per year.

With good preparation, an individual can earn all three of these certifications in one year. Therefore, you have to keep updated to know when the company or organization offers those certifications. If not, the classes are likely to be purchased on the open market, either in hand or online. Even if your company doesn’t reimburse for the course and assessment, pursuing them is still recommendable for your future career.
